These blueberry yogurt bagel bites are soft, lightly sweet, and made with just a handful of pantry staples. No yeast, no waiting—just mix, roll, and air fry! A fun and nutritious snack or breakfast for toddlers (and parents!) that comes together in under 20 minutes.

These blueberry yogurt bagel bites are perfect year-round, but they’re especially fun to make during spring and summer when berries are in season and little ones are craving fresh, fruity flavors. They also make a great daycare/school breakfast or lunchbox snack, and their mini size is perfect for holiday brunch spreads or weekend meal prep!

Ingredients
These ingredients were chosen to keep the recipe simple, nourishing, and toddler-friendly. Greek yogurt adds protein and moisture without needing oil or eggs, while all-purpose flour keeps the bites soft and easy to handle. Frozen blueberries bring natural sweetness and color, making them extra fun for little ones. A touch of vanilla adds warmth without needing added sugar—just wholesome, real ingredients that come together in a snack parents can feel good about!
- all-purpose or wheat flour (GF 1:1 flour blend if needed)
- baking powder
- salt
- plain Greek yogurt
- vanilla extract (optional)
- frozen or fresh blueberries
See recipe card for quantities.
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer – Set to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray the basket or line with parchment.
- Mix dry ingredients – In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add wet ingredients – Stir in the Greek yogurt and vanilla extract until a dough forms. The dough will be sticky—flour your hands if needed.
- Fold in blueberries – Gently mix in the frozen blueberries, being careful not to overwork the dough.
- Form bites – Divide into two pieces and roll it out like a hotdog, then cut into about 1-inch long bite pieces. *Optional – Brush each pretzel bite with a whisked egg or simply spray with olive/avocado oil.
- Air fry – Cook at 350°F for 10–12 minutes, or until golden on the outside and cooked through. You can also bake in the oven for 16-18 minutes.
- Cool & enjoy – Let them cool for about 5 minutes before serving warm! Serve with cream cheese or Greek yogurt dip.
Hint: If the dough feels too sticky to handle, lightly flour your hands, add a little more flour, or chill the dough for 10 minutes before shaping. This makes rolling much easier and helps keep the blueberries from bleeding into the dough too much!
Substitutions
These can easily be customized to fit whatever dietary need! I left out the egg wash to make these egg-free, but if you prefer to use an egg wash feel free to do so!
- all-purpose flour → use whole wheat or gluten-free 1:1 blend
- Greek yogurt → swap for dairy-free yogurt
- blueberries → use chopped strawberries, raspberries, or mini chocolate chips
Variations
- lemon blueberry bites – add ½ teaspoon lemon zest for a fresh twist
- cinnamon sugar topping – brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar after air frying
- chocolate chip bagel bites – sub blueberries for chocolate chips
- mini bagel sandwiches – slice and fill with nut butter or cream cheese
Equipment
You’ll need an air fryer or oven, mixing bowl, and baking sheet (if using oven).
Storage
Room Temperature: Store in an airtight container for up to 1 day.
Refrigerator: Store for up to 4–5 days.
Freezer: Freeze baked bagel bites for up to 2 months. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 2–3 minutes.
Tiff’s Tip
Call them “mini berry bites” and serve with a side of Greek yogurt dip or cream cheese for dunking—toddlers love a fun, hands-on snack!
