Cottage Cheese Oat Waffles (easy, high-protein & toddler-friendly)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup cottage cheese
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½-1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional for flavor
  • 1-3 tablespoon milk of choice optional, if batter needs thinning

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until completely smooth.
  • Let the batter rest for 2-3 minutes so the oats can absorb moisture.
  • Preheat and grease a waffle iron well.
  • Pour batter into the waffle iron and cook until fully set and lightly golden. Avoid opening too early.
