This easy Egg Custard Toast is a no added sugar, 5-ingredient breakfast that bakes in just 10 minutes. The creamy custard blends eggs and yogurt right into your toddler’s favorite toast. Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices bread whole grain, sourdough, brioche, or gluten-free
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoon plain Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • fruit of choice berries, bananas, peaches, etc.
  • 1-2 teaspoon maple syrup optional for added sweetness

Instructions
 

  • Press a shallow well into the center of each slice using the back of a spoon.
  • Whisk together the eggs, Greek yogurt, vanilla, and optional maple syrup until smooth.
  • Spoon the custard mixture into each bread well and top with your toddler’s favorite fruit.
  • Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes in the toaster oven, or until the custard is set and the edges are golden. Let cool 2-3 minutes before serving.
