Easy Greek Feta Burgers

These Greek Feta Burgers are packed with flavor from spinach, feta, and sun-dried tomatoes. Easy to grill, pan-fry, or smoke—and toddler-friendly too!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs ground meat beef, turkey, chicken, or lamb
  • 1 egg optional for binding
  • 1 cup spinach finely chopped
  • ½ onion finely diced (~½ cup)
  • ½ cup crumbled feta
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Mix the ingredients – In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, egg, spinach, onion, feta, sundried tomatoes, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined—don’t overmix!
  • Form patties – Shape into 6–12 burger patties (depending on size) or smaller patties for sliders.
  • Choose cooking method – Grill: Preheat grill to medium-high heat and cook burgers for 4–5 minutes per side, flipping once. Smoker: Preheat smoker to 250°F and cook burgers for 45–60 minutes, or until internal temp reaches 160°F. Stovetop: Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat and cook burgers for 5–6 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  • Serve – Enjoy on buns, in pitas, or over a salad with tzatziki, hummus, or your favorite toppings!

Notes

Feel free to cut this recipe in half! I like having extra for leftovers - cook once eat twice!
