  • 1 box brownie mix Simple Mills Brownie Mix used for these
  • 1 15 oz can black beans drained and rinsed
  • cup water add up ½ cup as needed for smooth blending

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven according to the brownie mix package directions. Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper or lightly grease.
  • Add drained black beans and water to a blender or food processor. Blend until completely smooth, adding up to ½ cup water if needed. Add in the brownie mix and blend until smooth.
  • Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.
  • Bake according to box directions, checking 5-10 minutes early to avoid overbaking.
  • Let cool completely before slicing for best texture.
