Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour gluten-free if needed
  • teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt or ¼ teaspoon for lower sodium
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or mozzarella for lower sodium

Optional Garlic Butter Topping

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley or just Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Stir in shredded cheese. Add Greek yogurt and mix until a dough forms.
  • Using your hands, gently knead a few times until the dough comes together. Divide dough into 12 equal portions and roll into balls.
  • Place on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  • If desired, brush with garlic butter immediately after baking. Serve warm.
