These Greek yogurt cinnamon rolls are soft, easy, and made with no yeast for a quick homemade breakfast or snack. Perfect for toddlers and busy mornings!

Ingredients
  

for the dough

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour gluten-free if needed
  • teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt dairy-free if needed
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or oil

for the filling

  • 3 tablespoon butter melted
  • ¼ cup brown sugar or coconut sugar
  • 1½-2 teaspoon cinnamon

for the icing

  • ¼ cup cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1-3 tablespoon maple syrup adjust depending sweetness preference
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoon milk as needed for thinning

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease or line a baking dish. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Add Greek yogurt and melted butter/oil, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  • Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and roll into a ¼-inch thick rectangle.
  • Mix filling ingredients and spread evenly over the dough.
  • Roll into a log and slice into 6-8 rolls. Place in baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until just lightly golden.
  • Whip cream cheese until smooth, then mix in Greek yogurt, maple syrup or powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk.
  • Spread icing over warm rolls and serve.
