These healthy pigs in a blanket are made with a simple Greek yogurt dough for a soft, fluffy, toddler-friendly twist on a classic. Easy to make, higher in protein, and perfect for meals, snacks, or lunchboxes!

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour or 1:1 gluten-free flour
  • teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt full fat preferred, can sub with thick dairy-free yogurt
  • 8-12 fully cooked sausage links or hot dogs cut in half length-wise if needed depending size and age
  • egg wash or spray oil for golden tops
  • sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Add Greek yogurt and stir until a dough forms. Knead lightly until smooth.
  • Roll dough into a rectangle and cut into small strips. Wrap each strip around a piece of sausage.
  • Place on baking sheet, brush with egg wash if using, and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and cooked through.
