Notes

  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt and cream cheese for the creamiest texture.
  • If using frozen strawberries, thaw and drain any excess liquid before blending.
  • Adjust the sweetness to your family's preference by adding 1-2 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey, or leave it out altogether for no added sugar.
  • For a stronger strawberry flavor, add 2-3 tablespoons of crushed freeze-dried strawberries.
  • Let the dip chill for at least 15-30 minutes before serving so the chia seeds can thicken the mixture.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
  • Serve with fresh fruit, graham crackers, pretzels, waffle sticks, or mini pancakes for an easy snack or dessert.
  • For babies under 1 year old, don't use honey due to risk of infant botulism.
