These soft, no-bake sunbutter date energy bites are a nut-free, school-friendly snack for toddlers. Made in the food processor with simple ingredients and naturally sweetened with dates.

Sunbutter Date Energy Bites for Toddlers (5 ingredients & nut-free)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup pitted Medjool dates
  • ½ cup sunflower seed butter sunbutter
  • ½ cup rolled oats or quick oats for extra softness
  • ¼ cup hemp hearts
  • ½-1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1-3 tablespoon water as needed

Instructions
 

  • Add the dates to a food processor and blend until sticky and mostly smooth.
  • Add sunbutter, oats, hemp hearts, cinnamon, and optional vanilla or maple syrup.
  • Process until a soft dough forms, adding water 1 tablespoon at a time as needed.
  • Scoop and roll into small toddler-sized balls (about 1 tablespoon each).
