- Step 4: Freeze 2-3 hours, until firm. Break into pieces and store in freezer.
Hint For The Best PB&J Yogurt Bark
Let the bark sit at room temperature for 1-2 minutes before serving so it softens slightly. This improves texture and makes it easier for toddlers to manage!
Substitutions
This PB&J yogurt bark is naturally gluten-free, egg-free, and can easily be made dairy and nut free!
- dairy-free bark: use a thick dairy-free yogurt
- nut-free bark: use sunbutter or pumpkin seed butter
Variations
Feel free to mix this PB&J yogurt bark up with other toppings!
- sunbutter & jelly bark: swap peanut butter for sunbutter
- strawberry PB&J bark: use strawberry chia jam
- chocolate chip bark: sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top (best for older toddlers)

Equipment
You’ll need a rimmed baking sheet, parchment paper, and a spatula for spreading the yogurt evenly. A small bowl for mixing and a knife or toothpick for swirling the peanut butter are helpful, plus freezer space to set the bark.
Storing Your PB&J Yogurt Bark
Store your frozen yogurt bark pieces in a freezer-safe container for up to 2 months. Keep frozen until ready to serve.
Tiff's Dietitian Tip
Frozen snacks can be a great tool for toddlers, especially when they’re teething and seeming to refuse most solid foods. It's also a great way to introduce new fruits to kids who might be on the more selective eater side! Let them help sprinkle the toppings on or do the peanut butter drizzle.
FAQ
Yes you can! Though, Greek yogurt tends to be thicker so it doesn't frost as easily as regular yogurt does.
Absolutely! Just use whatever dairy free yogurt you prefer.
Yep! Just swap with sunbutter or pumpkin seed butter for a nut free alternative.

The perfect snack and a great Kong stuffer for your dog! Kept my toddler and dog happy for snack time 😊. I used the SMASH chia jam and it was perfect for this recipe.

How long does this stay solid once taken out of the freezer? Like would it work packed in a lunch box for a few hours ?
toddlerdietitiantiff says
ehh maybe like 30-45 minutes?? depending the temperature it is outside! if you had a lot of ice packs in the lunchbox there's a chance it could stay pretty solid, I haven't tried yet!
